I'm French so I apologize for grammar mistakes...

I was very hyped by the Bundesliga TOTSSF and I was looking for a good second cdm next to Fred. I was bored of Guardiola so I tried Prime Ballack but I sold it because his price was unstable and I didn't want to lose coins (I still lost 100k because of him, I'm not proud of that).

When the SBC came out, I was very interested but I thought it will be expensive like Moments Goretzka.

Thanks EA for making Witsel only worth 125k (Xbox One), if this card was in packs it would be worth + 400k for sure...

It's a fast review because I wanted to write it before the SBC expires

I Play him as a CDM in a 41212(2) with engine.

SHOOTING : insane longshots + show power, decent finishing (still more than futmasCosta), 4* WF

PASSING : great passing (short & long) , not a good freekick taker

DRIBBLING : suprisely good, 4* SM, ok balance

PACE : not the fastest, but he's enough fast for a cdm

DEFENDING + PHYSICAL : very good, nothing to complain about

So When this guy came out I had to get him.He cost me 40k to make him. There was only one problem I couldn't use him as a midfielder but that's alright I have been playing him on a centberback and he is fast, strong and have great defending. I link him up with league SBC Opara and RTTF Mbabu. So he has unfortunate only 7 chemistry but he is still an absolute monster.

So basically i was waiting for the new sbc to come out today and then i saw him! First of all i didn't get the resoning behind him getting a flashback card but idc tbh. As soon i saw this card i decided to get him. so I got the Sbc ready and waited for half an hour to check my options from the bundesliga and the cost. After a lot of time I found a way to do him for free and so i did it. So here i was, not having supersubs cause i gave them in the sbc and not able to fit him in my squad. So I went on to play some Div Rivals to do the Sabitzer TOTS and then i decided to try him out. Just to know since the first day of FUT I got Kante as CDM and I like him a lot but rn he is not op anymore and he misses something. So I did it I subbed out Kante for Witsel and he was sensational. Just to know I play 424 With All out attack tactics so usually I have just 2 CBs staying behind but Wisel made me worry less. Even though he was not staying behind at all he was there when needed and always got the ball. At attack he was unbelievable with pin point passing and unable to lose a header as well as having amazing Dribbling and skill moves and weak foot, he was AMAZING! Whatever Kante doesn't have Witsel has it. His amazing bodytype helps a lot too! So If you don't know whether he is worth it or not, HE IS!

P.S. There is not the 424 formation so I selected 4222

I went on FUTBin last night and expected some awful, overpriced SBC for an unlinkable Bundesliga player. Instead, I saw this god that could be done full price for a miniscule 130k coins. I am still pretty poor in the grand scheme of things as I recently started playing FUT like a week or two ago. However, I managed to do the SBC for around 20k and I don't think I've made a better coin investment than Witsel in my life.

An endgame Bundesliga CDM for 100k is a dream, especially when there is a brilliant Sabitzer objective going on at the same time - so my midfield is godly atm.

First and foremost, Witsel's pace is really the only thing that is lacking in my opinion. While 83 pace is fine, going up to an 87 with an Engine, his acceleration is absolutely dire which makes him slow off the mark. This is literally the only thing that could possibly be considered bad about this card however.

Next up, his shooting. I don't shoot much with my centre mids in general but it's pretty decent-looking despite what my 1 goal in 12 games might show. He consistently tests keepers from literally any possible distance which always makes him a threat.

As for his passing, it is godly. Almost every pass he makes will go directly to its target no matter what position of the pitch he is on, what foot he uses or where he is passing to, which is an especially good attribute given the fact that he is a CDM.

His dribbling is really as good as could be expected. His balance is the only thing letting him down in this department although an Engine makes it more than passable with a +10 boost, bringing it up to 86. He doesn't feel like Neymar on the ball or anything but for a bulky 6'1" CDM he is great at it.

Defending is his real selling point though. He is utterly insane at it and he wins the ball 99.9% of the time he goes in for.a tackle. Having 95 stand tackle and 93 slide tackle makes him a brilliant defender and he could easily be used in centre back. Pair this with his 89 interceptions and 91 def. awareness and he truly is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to any sort of defensive action.

His physical also makes him stand out hugely. With 92 strength and 88 aggression, he is not going to be bullied off of the ball almost ever and, in most instances, is the one pushing others as far away from the ball as possible. He also has 92 stamina which is more than sufficient for a centre mid.

Witsel also has 4* skill moves and 4* weak foot meaning that he is able to do most useful skills and is no slouch with his left peg.

He has M/H workrates which help a lot given that he is a more defensive category of midfielder but also an offensive presence, making him a stellar box2box midfielder, CDM or even a CAM if you're feeling brave.

OVERALL: Witsel is probably the best value for coins anywhere on the game at the moment and you're stupid if you can afford him and don't get him, even as a bench option.

Just wow, what a card! I'm currently partnering him alongside Flashback Sahin and mate don't even think the great wall of china can keep this many things out. Every loose/heavy/misplace ball he gets it. Someone trying to run at your defence? Don't worry he'll headbutt them with his afro. Overall amazing card.
